Warranty after 12 months typically only covered sealed system. No fans.

 

Fuck yeah they do. You’d be surprised how many $20k appliances are dead on arrival, and get repaired and replaced.

 

I should have said: Shit never breaks for me under warranty. It usually happens 2 weeks after it expires. lol

 

I bought my place and discovered $1000s of damage. Be glad they found it. Mine was in concealed spaces (within walls) and not covered. Whole wall was like this. Shop is riddled with electrical gremlins. Roof in the shop leaks all over, roof company had small text that said they are the only ones who can deem a failure of workmanship and decided someone was on the roof when no one was and voided the warranty. They did terrible work anyways so I don't want them anywhere near my roof again.... but yea. Better to find out its shot before you buy than buy and find out its shot. Good luck man.
