Massimo Fridge???

I guess. Mounting 4 d rings on the back on each of the handle screw and securing it to the bed side instead of the floor would be the best solution.
Pro tip.... if you take the wheels/axle off, it becomes unstable sitting up right. Because of the angle on the edge for the drain hole.

Lol I was simply going to get a piece of plywood, put some pad eyes and ratchet it on.

I thought about that too, just not sure how to attach feet to it without compromising the unit (breaking it or melting it).

 

This things looks very similar to the Massimo fridge and very promising. It's expensive but about the same price as a Dometic fridge, Jackery 240, & 100 watt solar panel combined. I wanted to post it here so everyone could check it out and decide for themselves. I like that you can have multiple batteries and they plug into the side of the fridge instead of having to track and store the Jackery somewhere separate.

Anybody having condensation issues with their Massimo? I’ve had mine set to 0F for 3 weeks straight now and noticed the bottom (exterior) has a good amount of condensation. Enough to see over 20 water droplets. I opened the fridge thinking there was condensation build up INSIDE and thought it was coming through the drain, but it was completely dry inside. Should I be worried?

 

its normal. These cheaper fridges have poor insulation. It’s similar to how a glass of ice water “sweats”

 

Even my 1200 dollar arb sweats. It’s been a freezer(-0f) for us ever since February.

 

How are the coolers holding up for everyone? Really tempted to get a 40

 

It works well for the price. I have the 40 and it fits behind my driver seat (rear seat folded down), with "just" enough space to pop the lid up poke your hand in and grab things. Used it for two separate week-long trips, and it's been solid. Definitely beats having to deal with ice and water.

If you can catch it on sale, I would still say it's worth the buy.

 

Overall, it's good. Not a fan of the car charger because I caught it slipping out once or twice. Ended up installed a twist lock in the bed.

Still trying to figure out how to mount it in the bed

So far so good with the little 30 in the family gx for groceries, drinks, bottle for baby, and misc stuff fits perfect under cargo cover.

The 40 fits perfect with the diamondback cover and bed mat! No pressing down on the cooler or anything has to be in the middle though cause of the DB locking bars.

 

Been waiting for this deal to come back from costco.

Got the 30 so that I can fit it in the car also. Anyone one running these off a power station?

 

Planning to try and run mine off a jackberry 240... it's a smaller battery but wanna see how long it'll last/if I have to upgrade.

I'll probably test it on Sun and let ya know.

 

I'm running the 40 off a Jackery 500 + 100W Renogy solar panel. I was able to run it 24/7 for about 5 days set at 35*C. I was hiking most of the day, and I didn't have the ability to move the solar in an ideal location. So it probably could have gone longer.
