    A few.
    The 265's tend to look bigger with aftermarket wheels compared to stock wheels. Likely due to the wider wheel and different offset.

    I run 32 psi normally and have deflated to 15 psi with no issues when out playing in the dirt

    Pirelli AT Plus Going with 32PSI on pavement at the moment. Aired down to about 25PSI on a recent hunting trip., mostly gravel roads. Smoothed out the bumps a little.

    I know some people don’t want to hear this but:

    When swapping out P (SL) rated original equipment (OE) tire’s to LT tires it is necessary to ‘derate’ the OE tire’s load index (by a safety factor of 10%) plus consult the load index ‘tables’ in order to determine the correct tire (air) pressure for the new LT rated tires at a) the recommended cold tire inflation pressure, and b) the maximum load the tire can support at maximum speed as recommended by the manufacturer.

    Example:

    The 3rd generation Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road’s OE P rated tires have a load index of 112. The 112 designation equates to 2469 pounds. The load index table for the OE tire indicates a max tire pressure of 36 psi in order for this tire to support 2469 pounds. Therefore the most load an OE tire can support - at the max rated speed of T (118 mph) - is 2469 pounds (at 36 psi).

    The Toyota’s OE max load index (2469 pounds at 36 psi) needs converting in order to determine the corresponding load the new LT tires need to support.

    Derating the P tire load index

    Dividing 2469 (by a factor of 1.1) produces a response of 2245. Where:
    • 2469 is the maximum load for a load index of 112 at 36 psi at 118 mph
    • 1.1 is the safety factor
    • 2245 pounds is the minimum load a (for example) BFG TA TA KO2 LT265/70R16 tire must support (LCC) for a given air pressure.
    Determining load index for the LT tires

    Searching for the 2245 number in the KO2 tire’s load index table (for a single rear tire setup) rounds up to 48 psi. Therefore, the KO2 tire requires 48 psi to match the LCC of the OE tire at their max allowable tire pressure of 36 psi while traveling at 118 mph. The same size KO2 tire has to be inflated to 48 psi in order to carry the same amount of load as the OE tire at their max rating of 36 psi at 118 mph. The KO2 tire has to support a load of 2245 pounds at 118 mph but it cannot do this at 36 psi. It must be inflated to 48 psi.

    So, at what tire pressure must the KO2 tires be inflated to (while cold) in order to match the LCC of the OE tires with the recommended cold tire inflation of 30 psi?

    The load index table (for the OE tires) indicates 2149 (pounds) at a cold tire pressure of 30 psi. Derating 2149 comes out to 1954. 1954 on the KO2 tire’s load index table corresponds to 39 psi. The KO2 tires must be inflated to a tire pressure of 39 psi in order to match the LCC of the OE tires at the recommended cold tire inflation pressure 30 psi.

    Note: The minimum recommended tire pressure for a KO2 tire is 35 psi.

    Findings:

    The same size KO2 tires need to be inflated between 39 and 48 psi in order for them to support the same loads as the OE tires when they were inflated between the recommended cold tire pressure of 30 psi and the maximum 36 psi for max load, max speed conditions.

    The KO2 LT tires will meet/exceed the capabilities of the OEM SL tires only when using the correct tire pressure (which is higher than for the OEM tires).

    Definitions:

    No designation (aka SL or P designation) all mean the same thing for our purposes.

    LCC - Load Carrying Capability

    Load - Weight in pounds

    PSI - Pounds (per) Square Inch (tire inflation pressure)

    Load Index - The load (weight in pounds) a tire can support for a given tire pressure.

    Load Index Table (aka Chart) - The load index table specifies how much load (weight in pounds) a tire can carry for a corresponding amount of tire pressure (in psi).

    Has anyone put this size on a TRD Pro, are the Pro wheels offset more that would cause rubbing? Does the tiny lift of the TRD Pro Fox front shocks/springs mitigate that rubbing?

    I have a 2020 TRD Pro, bone stock, and am looking at some tires that are much better in the snow than the stock Goodyear Kevlars. So many good tires in the 265 75-16 range that are simply not available in the stock 70-16 size.

    I just put 265/75R16 on my 2020 pro. Fits just fine. Not even close to rubbing. I went with falken wildpeaks.

    1.5in Bilstein 6112 Front,1in Alcan Leaf Rear with Bill 5100's. Battle Armor side step,bull bar, and rear step.
    Ok so I took a few pics of the rubbing I am experiencing with my 265/75R16 General ATX tires on Method 701 Trail Series with a zero offset and JBA UCA's. Lift is Billstein 6112 at 1.5in. Tire pressure at 18psi. The first two pics are form the drivers side and the third pic is the passenger side. This happened at full lock in 4wd over ruts in drive and reverse. First pic is the rear of the wheel well. Second is front of wheel well. Third is front of wheel well just above the air intake slots. I am thinking the tire is just too big for those full lock conditions while bumping around offroad. Maybe General makes a bigger or more true size 265/75R16 tire?
