Shifting down when using cruise control

    Put it in sequential shift mode (S6). Works fine for me in city/highway driving.

    literally just did this same stretch today, drove from salt lake back to Washington. Man those 80 mph roads really tested the taco (on 34s). I just locked the truck into 4th gear with S mode to be able to even maintain consistent speeds of 85 mph and manually shifted down to 3rd for those mountain passes to maintain speeds. The taco was screaming but it held up- just killed my mpgs but tbh they were not great to begin with.

    I’ve never felt the need to regear since I rarely ever drive faster than 70/75 in Washington, but after driving like 900 miles in Utah and Idaho I see why it might be helpful

    I was as far south as arizona so a lot of shifting between I-15 and I-84

    yeah I feel that lol - was down by hurricane Utah Zion area and same thing just blaring in 4th at like 3-4K rpm all the way home
