Yeah, we are getting close to peak here, but still a ways to go.

It is the saddest day of the year though. The boat came off the lake and now I have to get it ready for winter storage.

I don’t really fish. Canada fishing spoiled me.
I’m putting it away for winter because I keep it on a hoist, and the guys are taking hoists out shortly... I’d prefer to leave it in until the first snow, but life doesn’t work that way for me. Oh, and the guy with the barn needs mine in before the last 2 double axle boats go in.

Colors were absolutely stunning this weekend on the TWAT from the Jump River all the way down into the Driftless. Next weekend should be close to peak in Grant County.

Not this time, thanks though. I just took a day off last weekend to ride around on the motorcycle and work on the truck. Putting sliders on this weekend.

Any idea about what time the group will roll into Potosi?

For sure, funny you say that because I've been using the FF for quite a few winters now, hate the smell and dread the application, but I hadn't heard how much better Wool Wax is to work with until I got into a thread a couple weeks ago.

This is my last year using the shitsuit....and it would be in the trash already if I didn't buy 2 winters worth of FF last year.

I switched to wool wax before last winter. I had no issues with fluid film, but Woolwax seems better to me. Definitely thicker and held up well. And the smell isn’t obnoxious.

Jeez, I'm late to the party! I never knew it existed.

I'm gonna need E1 to stop robbing me of the motivation to get this knocked out today, it was lot easier to do when I thought it was my only good option!

Did you go on the run yesterday with the group?

No, speaking of things I never knew existed, the t.w.a.t, never heard of it. I was thinking I would go but for some reason thought it was on Saturday, or today. I’ve never been on the trail and looks like it would be a nice easy thing to explore

Ditto here, I think I commented on this thread about growing up here and it was weird how I've never heard of it.

Let's rep Dbq next year man!
