I wonder how close it will get to Loveland, or Masonville for that matter.

Don’t know? It’s not that far right now. I know the mandatory evac goes to Masonville and the back side of Horsetooth Mountain Park. Not sure how close it actually is to there now.

PurpleAir sensors aren't showing that it's reaching ground level yet, so get your windows closed and start running your HVAC fan to run through the filter (and get a new one if it's old and dirty!).

Ballard and Greer are gone, along with Pennock Pass. Sad day! I love that area! Feel bad for everyone who lives up there!

    Stuff. Also things.
It’s now the biggest fire in state history at 164,000+ acres, after Pine Gulch set the record earlier this season. Only 56% contained as of this morning.

I’m having a really hard time with this :(

not surprised old flowers is on fire considering its just a matchbox up there.. few years ago still dead from that last fire that went through and any alive trees are just beetle kill now.

Anyone else hear that this was human caused? from someone with a campfire?

It just better not be caused by the Douce Bag rich kid who thinks all of Colorado is his playground/ marketing for his shitty clothes brand.

According to the fire map, Old Flowers is not burning. It basically ran down the south side Buckhorn and burned south of that from Pingree Park Rd all the way to CR 27.

The smoke at my place has been rough all night. Can't imagine what people up much closer are dealing with

This was last evening looking toward Carter Lake/Thompson Canyon direction. So many homes are now bucking right up a against it. Obviously many have been evacuated, but I can’t imagine what they are feeling, stuck wherever they can stay watching & waiting.
