Took my son and his friend out to the lake (Lewisville) to camp for two nights.

Plenty of fun. His friends first time camping.

Unfortunately, there was no off-roading in the truck. There was plenty of off-roading on the bikes.

 

Already done with Subaru? That didn't take long

 

1 hour in. My body is ready.

 

Nothing like a traffic jam on the way to work on a saturday when you already have zero desire to go to work. Lol.

 

"Sorry boss, couldn't make it in. No, I'm fine. I just couldn't find the motivation."

 

I once worked at a job that I legit hated... Drove all the way to work, sat in the parking lot trying to get the “want to” worked up so I could go inside. From the parking lot, I called in and went home. No regrets. That place was awful. I transferred out a month or two later.

 

Been there, I used to throw up in the parking lot before a shift.

 

well your food should be tasting better also! I use the devils lettuce to help me quit the cigrits

 

yeah i would have walked away after the first time that happened.

 

I only stuck around for another two years

 

ive done that before, after an interview for a new spot i went to work and sat in the parking lot then just went home. Eff that job.

 

I like my job. But my bed was extra warm and comfortable this morning.



And yeah the last place I worked was like that, since nobody cared if I was on time (commission employee) I was 15-20 minutes late on average and hated being there. Why I still gave a shit and tried to make that place better is beyond me. Only plus side was they allowed me to carry at work.

 

Many of my friends said the same, it’s just not for me

Scooting along at 250 consistently. I think this one hit the stall at 148. Can’t decide if I want to wrap or let it go

 

Any of yall have part time jobs that are worth the effort? Wife has 2 weeks of severance pay left and has yet to get an interview. Debating looking for someone who needs evening help.
