    it is a moose, yes. A decent sized bull. The Gateway is the Gateway Variety, a tagging station in Ashland, Me. We ended up seeing 6 moose, today is the last day of the second week of moose hunting.

    that thing is huge. They just weigh them, measure the rack, and send you on your way there. I should have taken a pic of the tracking board. 4 4x8 sheets of whiteboard divided into name, weight, sex, and permit number, probably 1 1/2 sheets full.
