Sure, but there is every other online forum and social media outlet for that kind of discussion, and frankly, is next to impossible to have a fruitful discussion of those topics online at all. There are too many moving parts involved and in order to fully have a nuanced discussion requires writing a damn near novel for every response or presentation of an idea. Also, so much in communication revolves around the tone and body language that almost everything is taken the wrong way. Nuance, caveats, extenuating circumstances, this is why people write large and hefty books to try and articulate fairly narrow concepts, and many continuously fail at that, because it is inherently difficult. Just look at how long this response is becoming, even the act of trying to explain why its pointless to argue politics online, is approaching a ridiculous length. There are plenty of places for those discussions and IMHO, one of those places is not a truck enthusiast forum.

Those places are Quora, reddit, FB, Twatter, instagram, etc, etc, etc.

The only place i've ever come across online where there seems to be a sliver of genuine interest in having a discussion in length, where some people are trying to respond accurately to the arguments being made, is Quora, but you still have to pick through some pretty deeeeeep weeds in order to find the few people who are willing to do that, or whose goal is that. Too many people are just self-righteous about their dispositions and refuse to accept different people have different experiences which lead them to their conclusions and have zero interest in trying to understand why someone has a different disposition. One needs to honestly try to understand others arguments and positions to have a valuable debate at all, good luck doing that online. Debate should be about whether or not either party has the "best" answer and if not how to come to find the "best" answer (spoiler, no one ever has the best answer from one perspective). IMO All the best answers come from a genuine attempt to include as many factors into your conclusions, in order to have the most accurate picture of what reality is and the best ways to attempt to make it better in some regards or keep it good in others regards, for as many people as possible. Again, this notion of "political debate online" is largely a pointless, ego fluffing, self-serving exercise to get the people who already agree with you to give you "likes and follows" because we live in a sad world, and is a perfect example of why we are in the current political climate that we are in.

Snyder’s, love’em! They were better back in the day when they actually had as much salt as depicted on the front of the box.

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Their are some who are overly sensitive on this site that report and complain about a lot. Those easily offended individuals make it difficult for normal conversation and humor is sometimes lost.
The other side of this is moderator inconsistency. They will have their favorites and give them a long leash while others they don’t like get a short leash. No one likes to be treated unfairly.
People making intentional dumpster fire content threads every week seem to get a longer leash.(Not directed at any individual)
