Aside from the hose clamps being somewhat boring, the reservoir mount itself serves two purposes. #1 Mount the reservoir #2 acts as a sway bar drop spacer. Just keep that in mind if you switch to something else.

 

I don't know if i would say cleaner but I used rubber protectors on the clamps to reduce rubbing/damage on the reservoir however small it may be otherwise. Gave me some piece of mind

Those are just basic clips. Guessing you took the rubber insulator out and added them to the gear clamp that came with the resi.

I agree. I was debating black clamps for that reason as well. If you don't mind mounting to the frame or coming up with something to mount to,these would look and hold really well in my mind.

This is exactly what I did. I cut it in half (so it wouldn’t cover the fox sticker) and tapped the frame (2x 1/4-20 stainless screws). Works and looks much better than the provided fox mount. AKD brand from Amazon, 2-1/2”. Had to use a bit of the provided rubber thing to make it snug. Also wrapped the reservoir in 3M protective film.

I found a new set of fox 2.5's locally for sale.

They are 880-02-361

They have the 800# springs
039-00-330

I have a 2013 4.0 4x4 with a full aluminum front bumper with winch and heavy Slee Sliders.

Is this a good match for my truck? If so is there anything else I need for the front? Any information would be a great help! Thank you!!

 

I plan on getting the Dakar leaf pack and it says it adds 2.75 inches of lift. Do i need to upgrade my rear shock with the new dakars or can i keep the stock rear shock?

 

yes youll need longer shocks.

 

Those of you without a swaybar, are you running the stock coils on the 2.5s?

 

I did. It was perfectly fine. I’m on 650# coils now since bumper and winch were added.

 

These are really cool! I dig it, and cant beat the price.

It’s probably just time to retire my 5100s. They’re on the 888 spring but she sways like a boat in a storm.

Not a whole lot actually, these things don't send much feedback, they just suck it up. Truck actually feels slower now, it used to rise up in front under hard acceleration and then fall down and "bounce" twice, now it doesn't raise up in front at all.


Any good starting points for the DSC adjustments? How do I know what position they're on?

That's crazy man, which Fox shocks are you running up front? That looks crazy high with all that weight. Hydro or pneumatic bumps?
