I got the headache racks and mount rack so that I can carry things like a canoe or ladders. Most often they come in handy when I'm moving bulky items so that it is easy to secure everything. One thing I'd like to do is to cut a hole maybe a foot wide and six inches tall in the middle of the headache rack to make it easier to see out of. I figured I'd cut it diamond shaped to fit the diamondback theme. Only problem is that while it would be easy to make the cuts I don't want it to look like crap. Any thoughts on how to get a small hole out while keeping the aesthetics?

I would just cut out the center 1/3.

If you want a diamond shape, just use the diagonal bars as your straight lines.

I looked at that for a while, the diagonals would handle the shape nicely, I'd just have to make sure that there are no sharp edges. But after thinking about it I don't think it would look right without having some sort of of frame around the cuts so that it does not look like a hack job.

Yeah, I don't think I can pull off the full gangster whitewalls but I'm definitely planning on getting some BF Goodrich tires with the white lettering as soon as the original ones wear out.
