Lol it’s not like it’s a Ferrari or lambo, just because you aren’t selling enough doesn’t mean you reduce production and keep the price the same. What do they have to lose by dropping the price to be more competitive with the other brands. If anything I feel like they would sell more at the 30-35k mark with a base model coming in at 26k. If you think about it, the ridgeline is the perfect companion to the Tacoma. They’re so polar opposite that if they’re the same price, you’ll be able to compare them and make a decision by what suits your lifestyle the most.

My 18 sr taco came with two full size ones and I never use it for anything. There’s water and dirt in there and I never want to put anything in it. I was thinking about putting swing cases or something like that and that would completely remove any use of those storage units.

Someone on here sells a little kit that seals the holes to keep moisture and dirt out, l just put my stuff in a large Ziploc Bag and its good to go.

Truthfully, I got this mod, and it’s something I mostly forget I did, unless I consider that my cubbies stay clean and dry.

It’s a minor pain to get them all installed, on clean surfaces, especially the ones on top of the cubby, but so worth it. I converted one cubby to a power panel, so this was kinda required.

    Recommended 100% by me.

It’s been two winters for me, and the covers have stayed attached and no leaks. The guy who designed them really thought of everything. The bottom Square covers include tiny drain holes, so they don’t fill with water if any leaks in past the door gaskets. The door gasket material he provided also works well and stays put.

The should just slap a solid front axle on it and gear it for 37” tires from the factory. What have they got to lose? I’d buy one.

I an going to say something not too popular here but I saw a new Ridgeline on the road today. Pulled up next to it at a stop light. I was not in my Tacoma. Looked at it carefully. I get that it is not great off road and all that ... but not a bad looking truck at all. In fact, looked pretty nice. The one I saw had a great design profile. I still prefer the compact and somewhat muscular design of the Tacoma but still the Ridgeline was a nice looking truck. Being objective (and I am not a Ford hater by any means) it has a much better design profile than the Ranger. Just my opinion ...

For sure. The only issue at all with Ridgeline, it they try to compare it to true trucks like Rangers and Tacos.

It’s really the descendant of cars like the Dodge Rampage. You can almost see the direct lineage.

For what it’s worth. Putting a canopy on a Rampage or Ridgeline should be a sin punishable with death.
