Need retainer clips for kick panel.
My apologies if I'm not posting correctly.
I boogered up the clips when removing the molding on the lower front corner of the driver door opening when accessing the plug to install a trailer brake controller on my 2020 Tacoma SR. I've searched around this forum and the obvious ClipsRUs sites with no luck. Anybody know of a source? These are somewhat unique in that they have a rectangular tab that connects to the molding and the usual pin that attaches to the frame. Thanks for any help. /John

Homiec, You are the man (regardless of your gender)! Thanks very much. It will give me something to talk to the service manager next time I take it in for scheduled maintenance. /John

If so do you have a part number? Thanks!

That part cannot be bought separately, it is part is the entire mirror assembly.
The cheapest is for around $165

I remember a thread awhile back that someone actually purchased all the parts to try to get this to work on a USA Spec Tacoma and wasnt able to.

i did a search but it may have been buried within another thread...

Awesome thread! Thanks for doing this. @Jeff Lange Is there a part number for the OEM USB plug in the back of the center console (not the one IN the console). Seems to be a US only option?

I'm not actually sure if thats an option. I think the only unpainted mirrors caps they sell come with no mirror turn signals (its for the utility package SR)

does your trd sport have a cargo light in the brake light? Or is it like mine (SR5) and doesn’t have a cargo light?

Hello folks....can anyone give the clear answer regarding adding the OEM bed lights on my 2020 TRD Sport. It is an Access Cab, so there is no cargo light with the third tail light and there is no switch in the cab for cargo lights. But the truck does come pre-wired at the tail-lights to add the OEM lights. If I add them, how do they turn on? Really appreciate the help.

I think that has been asked before and the answer is you have to buy the switch too. I can't remember if it is prewired and you just plug it in, but I think it was, but don't quote me on it! Maybe pull that left panel out and see if you have the plug back there before committing to too much.

Sorry for double post but wanted to separate this out since it is different question/topic.

@Jeff Lange or others - Do you have a part number for the rubber grommets under the cab? I got Woolwax undercoating done and they forgot to put it back in. Here's a picture of the one I need that is missing from the other side:

    PXL_20201018_163318105_ex.jpg

This is inboard of the rocker seam and just behind the first mount point for the step bar brackets (as you can see). Want to get the side that is missing the plug all closed up ASAP before winter and salt season starts!

And it’s not the same size as the one you remove for the tailgate lock?

Thread has the answers you seek and the part numbers for the switch, relay and install pics. You need to buy the switch and install it for it to work.

Good point! I'll have to see if that one fits since I have it leftover from the lock install.

Turns out the one that is pulled off for the tailgate lock is bigger, so will have to find a different one. Darn, would have been nice and easy if that would have worked out!
