I make decent money as a product manager for a technology company. I've spent 3x more on a vehicle when times were better, but funds are tight and the Tacoma was a replacement for my ancient [but clean] '88 Toy 4x4 that got stolen ('09 Baja 1000).

I upgraded to an '06 4x4. It's since become my primary vehicle and I sold my car. The Tacoma has balls, looks incredibly cool, and allows me to exercise creative expression (aka OCD).

Dang, all this talk about 30 round mags being allowed and red tape....I'm actually GLAD I live in Alabama. I'm not going to discuss what weapons I own, but lets say there are relitively few restrictions and 30 round mags are a dime a dozen. The only red tape here is for short barrel and a can on your tac weapon. But even those can be completed with the right paperwork from BATF. The only reason I wish I didnt live in Alabama was my recent trip to Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona....the outdoors in that area is be beyond amazing!

I piss off people and tell them "NO", "Stop doing that" and "you're not allowed to do that", a lot.
