    Son n law has a gas welder, so pipe and purlin are going in, will most likely take the tin with us as well as we have it from our old patio cover from the old house. Been stacked up in the barn for years now, if it all comes together correctly that will give us a 16'x32' shade....:bananadance:

    I don't know if it's still available but you could file for a wildlife water grant. It is a paperwork shuffle but they pay for it to put in watering station for wild life.

    Thanks Kurt, the siding is heavy to install but in the end it will be worth it.

    Long drive to get there though at times.

    Far enough to "get away", close enough you're there in a day! That's my ideal. Windmill would be cool to at some point. Bet you could even use one to generate power.
