Sequoia axle is prepped for paint. Denatured alcohol is just amazing. Buying a gallon of that and shoving it in a spray bottle really helped get everything dry and free of particles.

Can't find one that fits this housing and the decently close universal one I did find kinda gets in the way of mounting for the leafs, sooner it bends sooner I get something that isn't a shitty semifloat

Relentless has one. Works well. Probably have to ask Eric directly though.

He must not advertise it. I'm not too concerned though, it's gonna bend axle shafts most likely anyway, and if it bends the tube it'll be between the leafs and the wheel bearing.

Working on details and finish welding things. Also, ace wants rediculous amounts of money for stainless metric button head bolts....$3.50 each. Thank goodness for the internet.

@turbodb brake lines on the front finally (since I misplaced the clips and just found them.)
[IMG] [IMG] Frames going to the farm to sit in that garage while I get the Mercedes running. I do plan on bringing it back before next year to get more work done to it

Once it's at the farm it might as well be put to pasture.

Na. Get the Merc running, then that goes back to the farm. But first I’ll use the newfound easily accessed first and second bay to finally clean up and paint the front diff and get that sucker up into the frame too

Finally upped my welding game today. Picked up a brand new Lincoln Pro-Mig 180 from Facebook Marketplace, at a substantial savings. Seller looked pretty sketchy, so might be hotter than a two dollar pistol.

I've been working beyond the capacity of my little Lincoln 100 that I converted to MIG. This should do everything I ever need!!

Cleaned her up a little and solved my persistant P0420 code. Turns out the exhaust seal after the second cat and just before the down stream O2 sensor was leaking. Replaced it, took an extended test drive; no code. I splurged and bought an OEM seal; all in at $14. She's doing well with 281K on the clock.

Anyone know if brakes getting super stiff after the truck stalls are a result of a bad brake booster? Had an oh shit moment when i stalled my truck on a steep hill wheeling yesterday and damn near rolled back into a tree because I just could not push hard enough to stop, managed to start it and stop though.

Sounds like a booster problem. My booster went out during stop and go traffic and I felt like was going to run into the back of the car ahead of me

Swapped out my 500 watt invertor for an 1100, with 2200 peak watts. It was a prime day purchase.
