About to buy a Borla Pro XS muffler for my 3.5 v6. Are you happy with yours? Sound good? Any resonance in the cab?

Not seeing much of a discount online. Anyone offer these for less than $107?

I’d love to get rid of mine but nobody was a stock exhaust is stupid enough to trade me. The around-town sound is fine but listening to it on the highway gets old fast. No drone per se just loud.

Had a Borla on my Chevy and it wasn't loud, but each application is different

I have the borla and i absolutely love it. Sounds great and not too ricey at all. Its quiet on the hwy unless you are downshifting when going up hills. With normal driving its quite mellow.

I wouldnt get any other exhaust for a taco. Well the trd sounds good too.

Less than $107? I paid 790$ delivered to my door and that was a good price here.

I guess is referring to just the muffler, not the full exhaust.

Yes, muffler only. The Pro XS is supposed to be little louder than oe and no resonance in cab.

I have the Borla S-type full catback and I absolutely love it. Had it for about a year now. It's growly and you can hear it on the highway but it doesn't resonate or anything negative. Definitely would buy again.

Considering getting the type s but not sure if I will have to do the full system.. Can it be fitted to the stock exhaust with clamps? curious to hear how it sounds before getting it welded.

I am interested in this as well...
Can you get away with just a new muffler or should you just step up and go full cat back??

Had the pro xs muffler, got rid of it. I was tired of it on the highway.

    What was ur setup?

As I understand it, their "touring" setup is the quietest according to Borla, but its a cat back setup, muffler not sold separately.

The pro xs is next quietest, then S type, then atak.

just installed my borla XS muffler. it’s not bad. it has no drone once your driving constantly, only when you switch gears! its very similar to the TRD pro exhaust. just a tad bit louder. no complaints here
