    I have no clue.
So I was at APs site the other day drooling at what I hope to someday have and I found they redesigned there plate bumper. Now, while it may add more clearance or AOA, I really liked the old one better. So much that I think I have scratched the AP bumper off my list. Thoughts?

I've had both all pro plate bumpers now, the new one and the older style and while i didn't really like the new one at first (because of less coverage) it's now starting to grow on me. That and at least you get more clearance with the new one to.

Going of multiple reviews. There is a little bit of assumption based on different threads showing construction of both.

I've owned both and posted SIDE BY SIDE posts both on and off of the truck *see link below. The new bumper has 2x as many parts, way too many screws and it squeeks!!! The old design was better, but I'm sure cost AP more $$$ so they cheapened up the design and "claimed" better clearance as the reason.

I'm a mechanical engineer who designs products for a living. I'm 100% sure of this!!!

Well you're 100% wrong about it costing less! It actually cost us more because there was more pieces to handle during powdercoating and packaging! We have since changed the side pieces back to one piece. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. Maybe you could reply to my PMs about the partial refund I've been owed by AP for the powdercoating of my old bumper???
