Just ordered the westcott kit, excited to gain a little ground clearance.

So I got the kit in the mail, the front end kit looks great and beefy. The rear is just spacer blocks and new u bolts. I guess I thought the rear end was unique and not spacers too but guess not. Wonder if the spacers in rear will give me any issues off-road?

Not at all, I put it to the test last weekend and no issues at all. Really not much you can do with rear. After talking to everyone block is the way to go unless you plan on backing the rear with gear.

Thanks, I regularly have my dirt bike in the bed if going on a trip but never off-road with it the bed. Just simple recovery gear and daily outing stuff for off-roading trip. So about 100lbs of stuff I’d guess in the back I’d guess. Most my wheeling isn’t so much rock crawling but more faster desert run stuff. And I didn’t know how spacers would do at speed. I guess if I really wanted to avoid them i could go with a different leaf pack in the rear like some others have done. I just really don’t want a bouncy, stiffer ride either for daily driving.

@JL37902 how would you say the ride quality in the rear is with the new ome leaf pack?

Or for anyone who swapped to a different leaf pack in the rear instead of the blocks, could you recommend a good leaf pack that still gives a soft ride for daily driving?

I want to say ICON RTX is what the guys up in Bellevue, Washington @ Michaels's Toyota use for folks who pair this kit with a different leaf pack and intend to put weight in the bed. Don't quote me though.

Stock left, 33" no lift right.

About to put the westcott up front and RXT in the rear. I got the kit from wheelers but I'm not sure where they put the additional leaf. All 7 are together. Any idea? @Icon_Adrian ?PXL_20201026_191951304.jpg PXL_20201011_221939413.jpg

Anyone with the westcott 2020 trd pro kit running it with significant weight? Or happen to know the compression rate?

I'm curious how it'd work with front / rear bumpers, winch, sliders, bedrack, and loaded up.

    • Thanks, it looks like im missing the additional leaf. The box wasn't beat up enough for me to even take a picture, which I almost always do... It really looks like it was left out of the box. Looks like I'm going with option 1 until I can figure out what happened, I'm assuming this is still going to give me height and support better than stock with 400lbs constant?
    • I was going to install it on option 3, waiting for my BAMF dual swingout bumper which should bring me closer to 600lb constant.

Many offroad owners picked up pro suspension. Its a great upgrade on our trucks.

Yea I bought a set of low mile TRD pro suspension for only a grand from a member on here a while back. Love the ride quality. Much cheaper then getting an actual TRD Pro and didn’t have to deal with that leather or sun roof

Surprised that no one has made an extended eyelet for these shocks seems like a perfect solution to get an extra inch of lift

Probably because a spacer is cheaper and easier.

Yea, not 18’ my mistake, sunroofs (or moon roofs whatever people like to call it) actually didn’t come standard on the Pro models until 2019. It’s okay though, it lowers the headboard height in an already small cabin, so it’s actually nice having an extra inch of space up top.

It’s not an option I see used often though but I can why some people may like it I guess. My wife has to get one on every car she buys and I never see her use it.

Anyone know what the deal is with the revtek pro lift? It says its 1 1/2" lift but the spacer looks that thick itself..

Got my kit installed, loved the height difference! Not to much, just enough to give it more a truck stance and gain some needed ground clearance!

TRD Pro suspension with Headstrong 3 Leaf AAL, DV8 OR front slimline bumper & Engine Skid Plate, RCI OR high clearance bumper, CaliRaised Trail Edition Sliders, Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers, 265/75 16 GY Duratracs, wrapped the OEM wheels, OR Roof Rack, Extang Exceed Hard top Tri fold tonneau.
When I recently purchased a used TRD Pro Fox suspension to replace the OEM shocks on my TRD Off-Road (28k, $550) a number of people questioned me and told me I would regret buying it as it was non adjustable and a poor system to do a lift. I spent a lot of time researching and was honest with what type of driving I do and felt that the suspension would be a great upgrade as most of my off road is unmaintained ranch roads, forestry trails, and mild two tracks and I really didn't feel I needed a big lift. I have skids and sliders on 265/75 16's with high clearance bumpers. I am planning on installing a AAD, which will give me a back a little rake, and work with the extra weight I carry when loaded with gear. So far I felt I made a good decision and after listening to this YouTube video, I feel even more so that I made the correct decision.
