So far he said more than 12, not including getting the trailer up and running again.

My little drive wasn’t bad compared to everyone else’s, but I still bet I spent almost as much time in the seat of a truck as the rest of you

I mean it’s doable, but you have to have another truck for all your stuff

I drove at 53mph on the highway for 11hrs with a blown out carrier bearing. Thank you TW for another "this chinese part off Amazon is the same as oem, it's just $100 cheaper" parts recommendation. It would violently shake anytime I would use more than half throttle. That's really the only time it sucked driving that truck long distances, shitty 1st gen seats and square super swampers aside.

Does anyone still run those? I figured they're like a deep south joke, like truck nutz or the no steppy snake flag for "muh rightz™"

TSLs and SXs work pretty awesome down here. I mean they are no broverlander AT like you guys run on your 80s in the west, but they get the job done in rutted up, tree root filled, wet rock ledge filled hill climbs.

Mine on the other hand were ssrs that sucked complete ass, but they came on headlocks and it was a cash deal with someone I knew and I needed wheels and tires ASAP on a budget to go wheeling.

which ones? I still see IROKs and and TSLs on the trail a couple times a year

I was looking for someone with a new set of boggers last time I wheeled. They drove through a marked closed illegal bypass, including breaking through the logs that were laid across as if the parks and wildlife closure sign wasn't obvious enough

Most likey a samurai. I'm pretty sure a 31x15.50 bogger is the mandatory tire for wheeling a Sami.

I gave up on AT for anything but a daily anymore, I'll turn in my overlander card. MTs for anything I wheel, though I'm not quite dedicated enough to run bias plies, I'm not so nostalgic for the 60s

Yea I hear ya! I don't get why bias plies are even still a thing. I'm almost in JK land with my pro comp extreme mt2s

How you like the ProComps? I can't get a read on that company, they've got tires, wheels, suspension... seems like the wheels and suspension are bro grade, trash. Lots of reports of the procomp wheels being out of round and the suspension is just beauty lift shit and generic white can shocks with their name on it. But the tires, I see all sorts of folks using and never a solid review one way or another.
