My Sport also has the windshield go pro mount.

The suction cup phone mounts do not hold my I-phone 11 pro. It weighs a ton with the Lifeproof case.
Now I just need go-pros. All the video I took was done on my i-phone. A nice mounting system to stabilize my phone for video would be great. (Held it out the window or on the dash as I recorded video.) I also wanted to add some cameras rear facing and in the grill.

The stabilization on the new gopros is awesome. I’ve got one of the karma grips (3 axis stabilization). I dont even need that any more.

The 360 cameras are pretty sweet too..

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Rola rack. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
The 2019 and up no longer have the GoPro mount. They removed it when adding the TSS camera in the windshield.
I just installed my own. If you look at the video I posted you can just see the corner of the TSS housing.

@BookieBob you may want to look on Amazon for a cheap GoPro mount phone holder. It would be good for video, probably not for Phone/GPS use tho.

So now I’m motivated to upgrade my antenna and it’s come down to the original Firestick (4’) or Firestick II (4’)
    159858F5-2155-4F1A-8BAE-A45DF4014706.jpg
Not sure if cutting the antenna in the original or an adjustable one with Firestick II has a better , cleaner signal.
Has anyone used both or either.

I’m going to mount the antenna on the rear using Caliraised antenna bracket

and a heavy duty stainless spring. I’m done with the magnetic antenna scratching the roof and pulling over to put it back up there.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    thank you

I have and recommend the adjustable Style. That way if your setup ever changes you can retune it.

I should probably put my radio(s) in one of these days. I dont need a 4 foot antenna though with HAM / GMRS, i think it’s only 18 inches ;)
