that's a lot of $$$ for headlights. Do you know if the 2020 oem led headlights are direct bolt on plug and play to earlier models?

Demon Hooks. The OEM hook is removed and replaced with these using existing bolts and bolt holes. Among the easiest mods that you can do. One bolt per side and shouldn't take more than 15 min to do. A worthwhile mod for those of us with factory front bumpers.

Before purchasing a used Extang Solid Fold 2.0, I saw plenty of early posts on divots or dimples forming in the panel closest to the cab. The one mine has is exactly where the foam block landed; strangely enough the other side did not have a divot yet.

Ended up taking those off and getting some rubber pipe insulation from HD and placing that through entire length. Should distribute weight more evenly if/when I have the cover open. Used gorilla 55lb all weather tape so hope it holds up.

 

Nope they need a harness that someone makes on TW, I sold my old headlights so I looked at it as only a $200 purchase

Hmmm. I learnt taday! But my smartass cannot be confined to a 24 hour period once a week. I’m not even sure I could go a whole 24 hours without. I’d have to power down to do that.

 

The new 2020 LED headlights only have one connector. The TRD halogen headlights have 5 connectors and SR5 have 4. High, Low, DRL, Marker and Signal.The Alpha Rex headlights have a 4 connectors harness with a TRD DRL adaper for plug and play halogen replacement. Also with the Alpha Rex is a sequential module that can be installed for a cool power up sequence for power on and door lock/unlock features.

I’m curious about this one, I only have really used the ect power when merging or passing on the highways... acceleration does feel nicer having it on. How does it affect mileage tho?

 

I finally got around to installing the oem bed lights, I also installed the Pop n lock for tailgate. Now I’m ready for a cover!

 

When you are standing at the tailgate how is the glare back at you? I'm looking at bed light options. Thanks.
