I haven't wheeled at Sarco since high school! Hard to believe the land hasn't been completely developed. I know the old access point I used is now a retirement community.

I'm waiting on skidplates at the moment so no wheeling for me. I'm road-worthy but not ready to take any hits to the bottom of the truck just yet.

This week I'm going to lower the front of my truck as an interim solution to the goofy stance since my rear springs are shot. If I can get that done I'll take a trip to Denville for an alignment Saturday morning.

Have to see how the week goes and what I can get done. :)

Yeah, I saw his original thread about it the day it happened to me. Chimed in on it. Took about 2k miles after the first occurence for it to finally go on him. I've put 1k more on mine since the first time and it's gotten worse. Interesting how it's happening on the 4 bangers arround the same mileage. I've driven manuals all my life. American, German, and Japanese and I've NEVER had a clutch issue.

    no truck now :(
Stokes State forest in northern NJ. I think we might be meeting at the QuikCheck that Dday had setup for last meet.

Don't have to worry too much, Stokes is pretty tame, even for stockers. Couple fun hills where you'll need 4WD and stay outta the mud pit. :)

    I've begun noticing that.

See the above... I doubt you're going to hit anything unless you purposefully try to destroy your truck. In which case, I will be there cheering you on and getting video to show everyone else.

You've been absorbed? :D Hell if you've gotten that good, maybe I'll let you take mine apart.. 1st Gens can't be that different from the 2nds. :)

    And yeah, no jinxing....

Yea its pretty amazing that its still not developed.. I've heard tons of stories about the legalities of being back there. Last I heard cops aren't allowed back there because a cop was chasing the owners kid on a quad, and the kid crashed and died, so now the owner doesn't let cops on his property, but they will sit by the exits and wait for people to come out. Knock on wood ive never had a problem there. great place to go camping too.

Yea i'lll be there unless something comes up again. I'm still sick, and big boulder is open so i need to go snowboarding soon, but they'll probably be mobbed saturday anyway

Hey guys when you quote someone, how do you make it show "originally posted by" and the persons name in bold? do you just type that in, or is there a way to just make it happen?

So are we inviting those friends of ours that made the mistake of buying Jeeps? I know they're a little  but they're still our friends. If not, no big deal.

PS: That's gotta be my favorite one of the "smilies".lol

Well I really want to join the group again on saturday. Its just one of those weekends where I won't know if I can make it til probably friday. Any idea on time to meet? If I can go I got to be headed home around 4 or 5.

Also, that quick check is about ten miles from stokes. There are some gas stations much closer to the entrance to the trails in my opinion.
