Check the cheap free mods, it has a cheaper way to replace these filters. Nice post though. Your pics came out really well.

That's the one Advance tried to sell me for $30. Got mine on Ebay for $13 shipped. There are others who've gotten them even cheaper. BUT, at least things are well now. I'd pay $30 to immediately get rid of a stench.

Making your own is for the birds. It's relatively cheap but check this site out for cheap factory replacements. 3.62 plus shipping. I just ordered four of them so I'm set for a while. I've had it in for a few weeks and it's been great. Especially after using a jerry-rigged- taped cut up home filter.

Sure you may have to forego two Junior Bacon Cheesburgers at Wendy's but at least this is OEM without the hastle.

    Just a note....

The filters are 'directional' - so make sure you put them in the proper way (right side UP and length side in).

stupid question, but- I'm assuming the filter is the same for 2006 as well as 2008's? that site doesn't list those filters under 2008 for some reason.
    thanks!

Ordered up a few for the Taco and a few for the Mrs. CR-V.
Amazing how dirty that filter gets.

Best price I've seen and the quality looks as good as oem.

Thanks for the previous links. Here they are again for new readers. Looks like it's the same company, multiple names:

^ Nice car. All season GSA's?? tisk tisk nothing a few burnouts wont take care of. I see they finally are offering a 6 spd manual in them too.

Oh and my .30 homemade filter works great. Good time to check, been picking alot of leaf debris the last 2 months.

Yea im going to make the filter or buy em online next time, 30 dollars for this thing! DAM but it was a 10 min job and my truck stunk.
Ps: The challenger on the other hand has the sport tires on it, (trying not to destroy the tires because i want to store the origional rims, but they are already half thred) but its getting foose nitros greys. Also droping it 1.5 inches and supercharging it.
