I can still build an entire trailer when my primary gauge is reading zero. I definitely swap out right after that.

They don’t refill at air gas just give you a different bottle. Used to turn it in at 120-100. Now I run it till the gauge says empty and finish what I’m doing then take it in

All of my bottles usually will rest on zero and still be producing enough flow to weld for awhile

I wouldn’t replace unless you start getting porosity from lack of flow or until the pin hits zero

This is also why I have a 1lb spool of flux wire as an emergency backup. If I happen to run out in the middle of a job I absolutely have to finish, like a cab mount chop, I can make it happen.

I ended up investing in another bottle. That way I save money by allowing the first bottle to run out completely, and have gas to finish whatever I’m working on

I just keep welding until my welds get porous.

but I’m also the type of guy that gets that last little bit of toothpaste out of the tube.

What’s funny is I sold my 80CF to fund my 390 CF. Crazily enough, they almost cost the same.

That’s a big bottle! And I thought my 330 bottle was big, ha

I have a 150 as backup that used to be my primary bottle. But the cost to fill was practically the same to had to jump up to the big bottle

I use Roberts too, so I'll try and use it up before taking it in.

Then at 700 I should definitely have enough to finish my project.

Damn, that is a big bottle! Is someone compensating for something?

You better. Or else you must be welding outside during a hurricane.

Added a bend, lowered the top bar a little. I like it.

Not sure I like the project or the mono chromatic look of the pic more?

    Looks steampunkt or something similar.

Lol. I have relatives in Rock Hill. We visit every other year. This is not the year we visit. Otherwise I'd barrow a welder and zap them down.

I wait till it runs out or if I need to go for something else I throw it on the truck sometimes it is just easier to swap before it is empty.

Not like I don`t have extras

These work amazing for marking on metals and they are cheap.

If the tip dries out, I just dip it in a bit of lawyer thinner. Good as new.PXL_20201021_134049719.jpg
