Hey guys, I am sure that by now most of you are sick of talking about this but I do need your help. I have a 2015 Sport that feels like a SUV when driving. It is my daily driver and I also use it for work. I tow a trailer, maybe 5x a month, up to 2000 lbs. I don't really want to sacrifice MPG but I'll accept a little loss. We do also enjoy camping and light trail runs (I rock climb with my YJ so I am not looking to "build" my Tacoma).

It is about time for me to replace my tires so I'm thinking of getting 265/75/16 wheels and tires (I believe the wheels I currently have are 17 inch).

Does it make sense to wait and upgrade my shocks when they go bad, to Bilstein 5100?

Also, do you have recommendations on tires?

    Thanks.

Ummm... if you don't like the way it rides, then change it up now. Wheels and tires can wait.

My Tacoma rides fine.. I just feel like I am driving a small SUV because it is so low. I do have a Leer top so that will take care of the leveling issue.

Check out all pro off road expedition leaf pack. It’s great if you carry weight. But it’s a good 2-3” lift in the back unloaded and everything that comes with that
