That’s wild that the gym is in a predominately military town and nobody has told them to fix it lol

I think the difference is the difference in quality of vehicles when you were young vs when I was.

My best vehicle was my oldest one. That truck is still on the road. Its 18 now.

All my husbands vehicles except for his curent one have pretty old cheap things. I don’t think any one was worth over a few grand. Hondas run forever.

This is true. Plus mine were older in general when I first acquired them versus yours..and definitely mine were shitboxes. I was mainly buying at auctions so that also was a factor in some of them.

Yeah I wasn't buying model Ts at the auction when I was a wee boy ;)

I have been pretty lucky in that all of our vehicles have been pretty good. The Tacoma was the worse vehicle I've owned.
We had 7-8 year old Accords and a Jetta. Those were fine vehicles. Even our 2004 Jeep we got at auction was sweet. The trans was having issues at the end so we gave that vehicle to a friend of ours who was trying to get out of debt. I just gave it to her and she paid the $800 for the trans and she's still driving it (with no student loans now though!).

I miss having an older vehicle with a history. Like I said I want to keep this Forester a long time. If it wasn't for the gas bill (12mpgs) I wish I had my F250 back. I don't need all the fancy shit cars have now. I miss simpler times lol.

Damn man I said I was older than you, but yikes...no love :(

I owned mostly American but a couple of foreign cars..had a 81 Datsun 280ZX but it turned out to be a rotbucket. Typical of anything foreign at that time though. Of anything I've owned that wasn't a short term (expected) thing, I'd have to say my 1988 Chevy Celebrity was the best overall though. 4 years and 50K miles I put in it for $200 purchase and another $300 of repairs, all of which I knew about except the battery which is not unexpected when it sat for a while. Maybe cost me another $1000 over that time and I got $800 from some dumbass rear ending it and denting the bumper a little.

I agree in that simpler is better. Were it that I had more time to tinker with vehicles I'd have an old hot rod as well.

I hate all the safety lights and beeping and magic moving steering wheels, push button starts, and the auto sensing cruise control. It's too much for me. Like I hate Teslas, them things are like driving a damn spaceship.

I just want a nice head unit and sound and heated leather power seats.

I bet @Travish325 M5 probably massages his butt for him and reads his text messages out loud.
Does it have autosensing windshield wipers?

Don’t forget the ball chillers. Probably my favorite feature, wish the Tacoma had them

The Shelby had THE best cooled seats ever. Surprisingly the M5 doesn't have them, at least not on my car. I miss it.

I like mine nice and warm thank you.

I actually find those to be a total useless feature.

    Honestly... no.

When I'm running in the blistering damn heat or in the gym yeah, but those cooled seats really don't benefit me there.

I also have heat rejection tint, so my vehicles don't get blistering hot. They get warm but nothing the A/C doesn't handle pretty quick.

I want a heated steering wheel before I want ventilated seats.
