Old Highway 105 was a freeway. Linville Falls people were parked in the overflow to the overflow, way out to the pavement and walking in........ Every scenic view had a half dozen cars parked there and another half dozen waiting to park....... It sucked big time.

The area before/after the Viaduct is horrendous as well...people just walk out in the fucking road without regard to any vehicles, or they stop in the middle of the road trying to take pictures from the driver/passenger seat causing traffic to backup. It's complete stupidity.

There are so many options, based on your preferred method of carry, and clothing you are wearing. Most comfortable for me is a OWB leather pancake holster high ride, when I can wear the clothing to conceal it, ie: cooler weather. IWB it depends, can you appendix carry, do you have a gut that gets in the way of that? I have a fanny pack setup I sometimes use on real hot days. I have a few IWB leathers holsters from high noon I think, that are great. kydex IWB in my opinion is not comfortable, but you can get used to them, and they serve the purpose. I have a box of holsters, some I like, some I will never use......comes down to personal preference and your level of perceived comfort with each style.......I will sacrifice some comfort to carry my heater though.

this is my fave when I can pull it off, high ride barely comes down below the belt, unlike other pancake holsters.

just my $0.02, they will be many opinions on this topic

I have several of these for different firearms, most comfortable IWB carry for me

Alien gear IWB are a little pricey but worth it!! I can wear mine all day and night and never really get tired of it. Like Jimbo said sometimes the gut will hinder the ability to appendix carry which happens for me so I carry more of the 5 o’clock position. They also have the shape shift series that comes as 5-6 different setups in 1 holster

For me it's all situational. I have aliengear, low volume IG guys kydex, safariland and a bunch more. I carry most of the time appendix as that's the most comfy for me. I spent probably $400 or more on holsters before I found some I liked. I'll carry at the 6 and 8 positions as well just depends on the situation and what I'm doing. I even have 1 leather miami style shoulder style carry rig for my g19 that gets used once every few years when I wear a suit. I have some pocket holsters for the g19 and keltec 380.

Carrying is a way of life size your pants and shirts appropriately is a big one especially the pants. A good stiff belt that is meant for carry also that way it doesn't flex really when you start practicing drawing.

No direct experience, as my Toyota’s haven’t needed big repairs yet. But my father in law swears by these guys for anything Toyota.

Yeah, they quoted me $1200 for the clutch. Got a few other quotes. $850 and $1150 from small shops and $1800-2200 from the dealership. It need a clutch really bad now but I am a cheapskate. Want to replace it myself for $200.
