Let me know which one it is.

 

There’s plenty of options out there, but everyone I’ve seen is $500+. Not really worth it if your just trying to communicate on a trail, to me anyway.

 

Yeah I’m not trying to send that much. I’m also fed up always charging the hand held ones.

 

I’d just look at something I like posted above, we run a bunch of them.

 

At the moment I have a TM-281A in mine. It was like 70 bucks on craigs. No 70cm band, but probably good enough for the trail. https://www.kenwood.com/usa/com/amateur/tm-281a/

Planning to upgrade to a fancier one though because nerd.

Yeah I use a double din stereo for GPS/etc.

 

Its hit or miss, imma look for wheels and if they come with tires itll be better. But for now need to start working to get 16's, will likely have to sand and paint. Slug is gonna be running without fenders for a bit till i chop em bc they wont fit at first haha. Good thing my work is 5 min down the street

 

Probably like a 22-250 or 243 or some chit
