I'm assuming Ducati did this for center of gravity purposes? Or maybe its as simple as nowhere else to locate it.

 

How many miles are you up to now?

 

My bike might be parked for the year...40* mornings and plenty of stuff to do at the house still with the truck. Shoulder surgery on the 13th is going to put me out till the end of the year anyways

 

I havent really been riding.. im at 1750. This month has been warm, so i might still ride. I think its still going to be 70s this week

I did end up getting a pair of heated socks from Amazon, they seem to work pretty well. I will be testing them out in the coming weeks.

 

ive had a fieldsheer jacket for almost 15 years. its my "cold" weather jacket

 

Took a quick ride before work. Had a dog come out and chase me on some country road. Interesting.

Was 36* when I had to do 20 miles of street to meet my buddies for some woods riding. Once we got in the woods though I warmed right up. Potentially going to do a camp/riding trip the first weekend of Nov.

 

woods riding is definitely warmer. i dont mind going out when its low to do that, easy to stay warm in a jersey and tshirt. might try to get the dirty bike out one more time before surgery
