What makes me worry is the transponder chip is glued in so you pretty much have to destroy the key to get it out.

Hopefully someone has some tips to make it easier like using a heat gun or solvent or something.

The circled part is what I'm wondering about. The guts is super easy.

Got Cement for my Silver Sky... Will extra buttons be available? I would like red for the panic button.

x2 Love to see some contrast on the black fob. Gray or red buttons or even both would be great. Definitely would like the red panic button.

I have not checked my original OEM key but the (2) aftermarket replacements I later picked up I can easy remove the transponder...just has some 3mlike sticky on it. That's what I plan to volunteer as tribute.

The TS programming process I used needed a key to turn but you could just use a plain key and tape the transponder to the side of it. You would need the key in the ignition and the transponder very close buy but I don't see why that would not work.

Shibby! That is my plan. Get it cut then program using TS.

So before ordering, that an H chip is solid?

Yes. You can get cheap spare keys for $8-10 and just rip the transponders out

im a bit confused, why is it that you needed to order another transponder chip? do you not want to take it out of your original key or is your original one broken?
