Have you tried those O'Reily axles that apparently are meant for lifted vehicles?

I do. Grandpa pete is 82 years old and still comes elk hunting. He even wakes up at 3 am with the rest of us. Tough old SOB wears nothing but a heavy flannel jacket and jeans year after year.

That's not as common on 1st gen tacos and 3rd gen runners as it is with 2nd and 3rd gen tacomas. You're not super tall yet, tall but not super tall. You still have down travel, though I'd lower it more. I haven't tried them, OEM CVs cover the full range of motion, aftermarket usually don't. Maybe the oriellys ones will but good luck ever getting them, they've been out of stock forever
