Sliders and skid plates should be number one over a lift and tires if you ever plan to wheel it. I would even put a winch above lift and tires. At minimum get a hi-lift jack, you can get yourself out of a lot of situations with one of those.

Chi-Town 4x4 will get you all squared away. I run the 5100's all around with the Icon full packs in back. The 51's are set to their tallest option and the Icon packs have all the leaves. Ride is fantastic. I drive 150 miles a day for work alone.

I would certainly agree with @slander as well.

Hey! You don’t live here anymore!

But seriously. This is the best advice. Unless your running in blown out struts and shit, sliders and skids are far more important than lift if your actually going to wheel

Missing the covid lock down traffic. In the last couple of weeks, I have been sitting a lot in traffic.

CT4x4 can be hard to get a hold of at times. They do keep pretty busy and don't have a dedicated phone person. If Rick doesn't answer it's normally because he is in the middle of a customers truck and can't grab the phone.

Hahaha the I-80 trails!! We may have rolled a jeep back there in college, but probably not because it is illegal to go there....

Chitown is backed up right now, been told they'd get back to me a few times now, no worries I get it, just so you are aware, but they are great guys. 6112s and 5160s are on a national backorder like months out, some sources saying into next year so there is that too, I've been trying to hunt a set down to put on my truck prior to my move out of state with little luck.

Ya I don't think anyone here was debating that, just giving you a heads up they are running behind (believe they are down someone at the shop) and they were pretty busy prior to all this too.

Still trying to source some 6112s/5160s, if not I'll just order the 5100s the end of the week and we'll get to it.

Me? New car? The day I buy a new car will be the day hell freezes over. I like my older cars. I work on new ones all day. I’d hate getting into the same car I work on others all day.
