That seems more like it, it would be terribly stupid for Toyota to charge that much more for the services on a plan vs out of pocket. Their end game should be to continue servicing your vehicle.

That is more reasonable, although I would argue that it doesn't make sense to me to prepay $300 up front for $300 worth of services.

At $900 thats a big No! at 300 still for a few oil changes and tire rotations I'd still say no. I like to do my own oil changes and many tire shops will rotate tires free if you got your tires there or for a small fee.
Toyota oil filters are $7 at walmart. walmart has several different brands of oils to pick from at good prices from SuperTech to Castrol to Mobil one. I'm going to do my own after the Toyota care is over. I have AAA Plus RV so I am well covered in the event of any issue with the truck or camper.

I purchased this to do my own oil changes. Keeps everything clean.

Is that for the oil filter drain? I already have the MotiveX cap style wrench, I didn't by their version or the motiveX funnel because it seemed overpriced. that's pretty decent though.
The most important thing that they could ever do:rofl: Would not want them mats the make the truck accidently accelerate! I think I'm good with doing that too.

In my opinion, during the first 25,000 miles with the dealership doing the service, I am all but certain that my u-joints did not get greased. I am highly suspicious that my oil filter did not get replaced.

When I went to do my own service at 30,000 miles, I found my front U joint with very little grease and my rear u joint where you have to remove a small skid plate almost completely dry. Right after I had first bought my truck I had sprayed fluid film all over the frame and front skid plate area. When I went to remove the skid plate at 30,000 miles the fluid film that I had sprayed at 200 miles had not apparently been disturbed whatsoever. They need to remove the skid plate to get to the oil filter and the fact that the fluid film all over the skid plate had no smudge marks, makes me very suspicious that my oil filter had never been touched for the first 30,000 miles. Granted I can’t be absolutely certain about the U joints and the oil filter not being touched but I am very suspicious.

So I guess my point is, I would not pay a bunch extra to extend the free Toyota Preventative service.
