Count me in as another 20 Pro that is definitely interested in these springs. Planning to update the bumpers, add a winch, etc, over the winter and am not ready to ditch the Fox coilovers yet.

Same here. Would get plate bumper and winch if I knew it wouldn’t sag the front an inch or more. Very interested in a spring upgrade.

It really isn't that bad. Full lock rubs, but under normal driving conditions, it isn't really noticeable.

How exactly does the Westcott differ from the RevTek? Both look to compress the spring to achieve the lift. Westcott looks to add the spacer to the bottom perch where as Revtek to the top. Is there an advantage to either? They look to achieve the exact same thing, what am I missing?

Revtek is a spacer placed on top of the spring between the spring and the top mount. The westcott kit is a replacement perch (not a spacer) and a spacer on the top mount.

The revtek kit is easier to install, but the westcott kit offers more flexibility with the spring perch and the top spacer giving the lift (you can just use the perch and not the top spacer to give some lift, but not all the lift)

Both kits require the spring to be removed, but the revtek kit you just put the spacer onto the spring and put the top mount back on. Westcott kit you have to remove the spring, then pound off the old spring perch and press on the new perch, then reinstall the top mount.

In short, both give similar results, they just go about getting there differently.

Revtek pushes the strut assembly down to create the lift, which changes the geometry and impacts ride quality. Westcott is a preload lift and works like a coil over but in this case it’s not adjustable. It preloads the spring and maintains factory geometry and ride quality

Revtek is not that. the revtek kit is a spacer that goes on the spring between the spring and the top mount. It functionally does the same as the westcott kit, or the same as a longer spring.

What you are referring to is a strut top spacer, those bolt to the strut top and mount between the strut top and the mount on the frame.

The westcott is actually more of a spacer than the revtek kit is, but in a good way.

The westcott kit provides lift with the new perch aswell as a top spacer. This prevents you from using too much spring preload, but also prevents too much geometry change caused the spacers. Their kit kinda gives the best of both worlds.

The revtek kit gets all of its lift from the coil spacer, this could give too much preload on the spring making it act a little funky.

Disclaimer: I dont know alot about lifts, but have been eyeing both of these kits for the last year and have figured out the good and bad of both of them.

So the Westcott new perch acts just like the revtek in compressing the spring to achieve lift. The Westscott adds an additional lift by the top perch lift that actually pushes the whole strut down a bit. With this second piece it is unclear how they claim it doesn't mess with the suspension geometry b/c it does by the thickness of that top perch.

Correct, the top spacer seems to be a 1/2 inch spacer, so that would give a 1 inch lift with just the spacer. Then the new perch giving you about half inch or so more.

Personally, I would of liked to see a little more lift from the perch and less from the spacer. But I think the way its designed will give you the most factory feeling to the suspension.

    One would think, right?!

Unfortunately though, it's not that simple. Fox / Toyota reaches out to us with specific requests. We have no damper data here. SO in order to do this right for you guys, we need to get the vehicle in, reverse engineer the spring to work within the correct damping zones of the Fox shock and still get you guys a lift that you will approve of in both function and form.

    So here's the update.
Just finished up test fitment on the 2020 and we have a total lift of 1.25" (1.29" actually) which is designed to lift and level'ish (5mm rear rake) with our 1" block. Don't mind the silver spring, the production run will be coated RED, to match your factory setup.

As there isn't as much difference in rake from factory (compared to the 4Runner) we wanted to get you something that works within the range of the damping zones and still works with a rear lift block/leaf.

Over the past couple weeks we had a 19' in and will be following the same protocol.

    Working on pics right now...

    Incorrect!

We had one in for measuring session. Please see post above.
