    Yea that never bother me, especially once you realize that eating a lollipop is just swallowing a cup of your own flavored spit

    What’s everyone’s experience with painting aluminum.

    that cheap truck box I bought is way more oxidized than I thought. I degreased and scrubbed for 20 minutes with barely I mean barely any change.

    my plan of attack was;
    80 grit
    150 grit
    Self etch metal primer
    And rustoleum black gloss

    I never use dip except on long flights to Japan since I can’t smoke on the plane. I love it.

    Here's a bracket I made this morning lol20201020_151620.jpg
    Ive had to paint alot of aluminum parts in my various manufacturing jobs.. it doesn't like to stick due to the oxidation that builds up.. and it will start oxidizing INSTANTLY.. Add in a step of spraying the box down with some sort of material prep solution after the 150 grit. Something like rubbing alcohol in a weed sprayer or the no film brake clean. Paint the box in sections so you can tackle little square footage at a time
