So the "warning" on peleton is to make sure you have a stop loss set because that's in the top robinhood stocks...finicky buyers

 

I wish we would have got our wish and got real time listings of these stocks. I just can't make time to bounce around between sites.

List what it was as what it is when you make a post and I could more enthusiastic about this new thread.

 

I'm going to sell my piddly 10 shares of PTON tomorrow. I rode it as high as I'm willing to ride it at this point. Decent profit, and I'll find something else to buy.

Nautilus has been a dark horse though, right? When everybody was saying "buy PTON" I looked for a cheaper competitor in the same market segment and bought more of that lol.

 

If you'd like to gamble...Buy $FNGR tomorrow...it's OTC...It's at $7.42 now...It's probably breaking $8.50 by Friday...I own at $2.80 and didn't buy enough

 

That's just it though, I don't like to gamble lol. With my play money I buy rising trends, and companies I think have a good shot at remaining successful businesses. You won't find me in anything high dollar or any bleeding edge tech stuff. I tend to buy and hold. If I get lucky and start to make too much money over my projections, I sell.

99% of my money is in mutual funds so I can retire and be done with this working shit in 20 years. My play account is honestly mostly things I just think will do well. (And I live in Nevada, the literal home of gambling)

I bought a thousand bucks worth. You better be right or you're fired as my consultant.

 

So the deal with it is it's massively shorted. The short tries every day to beat down the price if you look at the bid/ask. Every day there is a dip and people like you buy (What was your price) and then it goes up and up...I was in at $2.80 240 shares. I bought like $670 worth from some cash I had stagnant. Did you get in under $8? Set a stop loss if you're worried...I'll be happy if you can make $250 by monday! Once its up just set a trailing stop.

 

I bought at $7.90. We'll see what happens by Monday.......

 

Good price. That's today's support. If it does what it's been doing for the past 2 weeks look for a run up to about $8.25-8.40 by close...

 

I got out of PTON this morning at $130. It's been sliding all day, so I'm happy with that decision.

 

Just be patient. There is a shorter who fills orders to lower the price...especially when it looks like this on the bid/ask. The real asks are in the high $7's +You can see that it's only 680 shares to gobble up to drop the price almost a dollar. The short does this every day...and then people quickly buy the shorted shares...and it climbs...patience...

 

Oh don't worry, patience is something I've got a lot of lol.

Right now it's trading at $135. The $135 18DEC20 call is $1365...The dilemma here is the stock has to be trading at $148 on expiration for this to break even....OR for $1350 you could buy 10 shares. If you buy 10 shares and the stock is trading AT $148 you make $130...For every dollar over that you make $13 and the option makes $100...Earnings are the first week of December and would be captured buy this contract...It's a tough call. I would be more comfortable in the $900 range for the contracts....I have a feeling it's going to hold this price over $130 but trade sideways for a while...So you could buy the 10 shares, catch some profit heading into earnings and then as the DEC contract depreciates due to time, sell 6 shares to buy the contract just before earnings...

Are you holding any STZ options? I grabbed a couple of the $180 Nov 20 calls, they are on sale right now. I think itll flirt with $190 well before expiry

 

No I'm in the 20NOV $265 facebook options right now...they were $$$ $1600 and are now at $2400 I'll see if I can scrounge up some $$ it is in a buy...

 

$NAIL is of course a big buy right now after that dip...It's down to $52 from $63 friday...it's going right back up...

 

OMG I could go back in the green on $NBEV today...a long slooow climb..Don't buy stocks on their way down from a 52 week high...
