As stated... take care of it, it will take care of you. I treat mine like we treated our tanks in the military with Q services... I keep up on maintenance and serviceability including replacing parts based on mileage vs waiting for them to break.. IMHO the crappy frame rusting out will make me get rid of it before anything else cause if you can't trust the frame whats the point, but I got mine as 2nd owner with 135K on it

I know what you mean, today I almost put on a sweatshirt here in San Diego, while wearing shorts.

Although it doesn't look like much the owner of the boat removed a lot of furniture off the front and it was actually tongue light but I didn't notice when I hooked it up to the truck. I was distracted with life's pressures. I normally try to pick up the tongue of the trailer but I chose not to instead. When I took this picture I thought to myself "that ass end should be lower" but again, I was distracted and I refused. I made the trip successfully but I'll never do that again. It wanted to steer my truck where I didn't and wouldn't want it to go.

I bought my 2005 tacoma with 168k miles on it. The damn thing still had the original spark plugs in it because previous owner did bare minimum in maintenance. 3 years later and I’m at 210k with no signs of slowing down. Still on the original clutch too.

5100 struts to level the front last week. Methods, KO2s and pinstripe removed today.

I ended up using a sticker scraper today to do the other side. Took 1/4 of the time. I figured it woulda been an easier task after reading other posts here. Guess mine was just baked on.

Installed front coilovers which should've took me two hours at most but wanted to get UCAs on but then the uca bolt.... never got to install it. How dissappointing.

My 19 year old back gets a bit scrunched working on the main car, I think working on the Tacoma would counteract that (hopefully)? :notsure:

I'll be there in 2 years. I'm averaging 25k a year. My hope is to hit 300 before buying my next one.

Wait till that back is 38. It’ll remind you of all the stupid stuff you did when you were younger.
