Just over a year and a bit under 5k. A little bit of towing, a little bit of hauling, the taco has done everything I’ve needed it to. I really don’t have any complaints other than the locker is only usable in 4L.....c’mon.

I picked up a 20 TRD Sport DC (MT) In May and at 3,750 miles I took it in for clutch pedal issues (mainly releasing the pedal) and tranny whining at 2,500 RPM.

After a 2 weeks at the dealer, all new clutch assembly and flywheel replaced. Was told the flywheel was out of spec + bolts not torqued to spec. It created 4 hot spots on the flywheel and pressure plate + compromised the throw out bearing.

after the 2nd week, got my truck back and clutch engages much better now.

Dealership covered the cost, or corporate did. I think it helped that a 19 MT came in the same week with the same symptoms at 1,900 miles.

    FYI - I’ve owned a 86 4Runner, 99 Taco and a Ford F-250 all manual.

Couldn’t believe this happen before my 1st oil change.

But, I say this is out of the norm, my 1st Gen has 321,000 and counting.

77,000 miles, 3 years, and I love it. No issues (knock on wood). It was a great truck from the factory, but putting the 91 octane OVTune on it made it a pleasure to drive everywhere. I tow stuff (6500 pound excavator, trailer, etc), drive highways & city for work, hit trails, and even run in sand dunes. This thing is a great truck and I love it and have zero regret in purchasing it. 2016 TRD OR DCSB.

Haven't read all the posts here. Found a low mileage '19 Tacoma and was going for it and found I could get a new one for the same price. That was a simple decision.

That's one thing I keep seeing. Wanting to sell used for the same price as new. Cant believe people fall into that. Getting better interest rate, longer warranty and so on when buying new.

About 70k on mine. Worst part is this dang forum. It literally makes you spend money.

Good info here. I have 107k on my 2GEN. Never owned any other truck except Toyota since 1987. I test drove some full size models this month, have owned a Tundra previously. I do tow, though not as much as I use to. My next truck purchase will more than likely be my last. My 2013 is getting its frame coating under warranty on Monday. I Really, REALLY want a new truck since been driving this one for 7 years. It is great reading good feedback now on the 3GENs so thanks guys for reporting on your experiences. Signed up for TW back in 2006 so have seen many posts through the years trying to be open minded. And yes, have spent a TON of money on here @tcBob built a great site.

Just clicked past 7k miles on my 19 :D .....Guess I should get out there and drive more. No problems other than my mountains are on fire and my typical spring/fall hangout spots have burned up :sadviolin:

76k miles on my 2016 TRD Pro. At the most recent oil change, dealer indicated the timing cover leak. Over $3k to repair. I've played ostrich and stuck my head in the sand to this point about it. Replaced the battery after it died about 2 years in. Other than that it's been great. Replacing the front brakes next month.

55k miles and 3 years in. I’ve only done oil changes. It’s good for what it is. Honestly better than the other options out there.

batter went at a year, third brake light leaked at two. Truck is covered pretty much all the time other than when I am driving (covered at home and work), yet the headlights are peeling and the metal bar between bed and cab is faded.

nothing too crazy. I get compliments on it all the time
