Your analysis is the reason I chose the Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro’s. I have to say, now that I’ve experienced them in person they are supremely impressive.

Installed the oem headlights and blacked out oem led fogs. Actually really simple.

I run the SS3 Pros in selective yellow. As someone that has tested almost every fog for the Tacoma on the market, that should say something.

New owner here. I debadged the chrome emblems and also removes the black vinyl covering on the doors.

I’m currently debating whether to keep the trd OR sticker.

Found a post on TW a while back that linked these guys out of Australia: https://customswitches.com.au/product/custom-double-switch-to-suit-toyota-holden-ford/

It took about a month from ordering to receiving as they have to ship from Australia. Decent number of options as far as customization, but I think they only do two options with LED coloring. If you search "Dual Switch OEM" or the like on TacomaWorld, should come across the thread that links them. I think there may be a cheaper one from China, but couldn't customize that one..

@Rcyotaaa5 Very simple process: pop the wire off the back of the ECT switch and plug it into the supplied harness, plug the module onto the ECT switch, then run the supplied power wire which has an add-a- fuse to your fuse box under the dash. Hope this video link helps your understanding: https://youtu.be/ZN4lAA1V3vM
My reason for doing this is that I hit the ECT button one time to see what it did, and it really improved the performance of the truck. Problem is, it's a pain in the ass to hit the button each time you start the truck, and most of the time I forgot. This little mod solved the problem. Start the truck, a few seconds later, ECT is on!
