Just curious, at the time that picture was taken, is that a stock suspension on your white truck?

 

The pic was taken on Saturday morning, I’ve had the pro suspension on my OR for just over a year now.

 

Body shops do every day without issues.

Body shops will typically quote high when doing so without actually seeing the vehicle as they would rather come in under estimate than over.
The job should cost between about $1400>$1800 depending on the color and extent they have to go through to existing match paint.

 

The Sport scooped hood is functional, it's functions as a design element to improve the looks of the Tacoma. Not sure what you mean by "flying a rainbow flag for one year".

 

I know this is an oldish thread. But damn you dudes are paying a lot for the oem hood. $380 at my local dealer. Buy out of state, free shipping over $75 and you avoid sales tax.

No, it's not free because (max discount is $200) as it's classified as freight but the free ship coupon is good for -$200 so it makes it $509.72 because they add sales tax to Renton WA

 

A good bodyshop should be able to order the hood for a good price since they buy parts all day everyday. Look into having a body shop do it all and keep the dealer out of it.

 

I hate the hood scoop too - it just blocks line of sight and isn't functional. One of the reasons I got an OR

your headlights are A LOT SMALLER than a hood box. that will be shipped truck freight, it isnt going to come ups, usps, fed ex etc... it is an over sized box, and freight charges will apply, no discount will apply. Ski
