Bumper install today on @ahom ’s third gen. Custom bumper build and my powder coater knocked it out with a textured black finish.

I recommended a pre-runner cut to the rear fenders to bring the visual line of the departure angle up to the bumper and that would finish it off perfectly. Hopefully we get to see pics of that soon.

Just hard enough to need a new bumper but light enough to do no frame damage

I‘ll be honest and say that this bumper probably costs less than your deductible, so just place the order...

Also built a gate for a customer and went to deliver it. BTW if you’ve ever wondered how you deliver a gate that’s 8’x8’ in your stupid little truck with a 5’ bed, here it is. You just get creative with your strapping.

I can't emphasize enough when I say I LOVE this bumper. GHOST SHIP handled everything quick and easy even though I had no specific timeline. I would highly recommend him if you need any custom work done. I'm definitely gonna need more work done so I know who I'll be going to!

Cab mount relocate today on @jtvitangcol ’s third gen. I usually try to provide a solution to avoid doing the full relocate because it doesn’t really provide more clearance than a properly done CMC. In this case the relocate was the best solution since he’d already had 2 CMCs and has 315s on -38 SCS wheels.

I’m building a tire carrier for a first gen. I needed the extension tube (standoff for the tire mounting surface) to be 2” above the cross tube and 5.75” away from it for proper tire clearance once the tire is mounted. The formula helped me figure out how long to make the tube but also at what angle to set it.

They’re just behind the splash guards. Pretty cool design actually. The adjuster knob pokes out a bit so you can still reach it easily.

That is awesome! My splash guards ripped off long ago in a desert far far away.

The latest addition to ongoing projects in the shop:

1984 ATC70. I remember trying to ride this as a kid and how many times I lost a shoe by resting my foot on the back tires. Back then I was a noodley armed kid that didn’t even have the strength to pull start it. I’m excited to rebuild it.
