I do bacon crumbles in my pancakes often. GOOD stuff. I've also been doing some banana chocolate chip pancakes and this summer made some banana/peanut butter pancakes for my father in-law.

I can't eat much sweets for breakfast. I want the meat.

 

I don't make my pancakes very sweet at all, I do use a little vanilla in them to give them that flavor profile. The chocolate chips I use (daughter loves cc pancakes) are usually not a lot.

 

Yeah that's what is great about those sourdough cakes...zero sugar in the batter and all the butter but I usually have some bacon or eggs to go with it

 

You may not sacrifice me to your deities.

 

Need to figure out how to dip deer sausage in the batter and cook like a corn dog
