Exactly. What are we using that space for now? Air.

    :notsure:

Just the recent stuff that I have pics of.

    PXL_20200925_234811158.jpg

My bikes lay in there perfectly with the storage case. Sorry about the crappy pic:

Would not have fit with the 'storage' things:

First I'm going to google what crushnrun is because I've never heard of it.

Secondly, have you ever bought any construction products of any kind? 4x8 is a pretty standard size. Drywall, or foam insulation sheathing is also 4x8. Hell, even in Europe the drywall is 1200x2400 which is roughly 4x8.

Mark my words, ONE day in your life you will be putting something 4x8 into your bed, and you are going to think of me and realize it wouldn't fit with these fancy bed coolers. /s

I need the bed space more often than I need a cooler.

I have never had a cooler full of ice in my bed. But the difference is, that if I ever need one, I can easily accommodate by putting one back there.

I build stuff all the time. Mostly it is out of dimensional lumber or rough cut by the lineal foot. For the long or heavy stuff, I use my 6X10 utility trailer. Not disagreeing with you but there are many uses for a truck besides hauling sheetrock or plywood.
Oh, I should have left spaces... crush n run. It's a gravel that is angular that packs tightly.

I don’t see who would want that.

Whomever designed that in the engineering department needs to get the boot.

I would want it actually. My kayak would fit perfect between them, My family is not into alot of adventure stuff, but I like to do it (as much as I can with a handicap). The cooler side I could use for food and drinks, the other side I could put my kayaking gear in. Would be great for a nice solo kayak camping trip.

But right now I just use a bunch of plano sportsman trunks

Taking working from home to a whole new level. Is that a cubicle setup?

    Also, what's in the box?

Yup! One for inside and one for outside and potentially a cage for the kids.

It was actually a drop off from the office to my wife's classroom. The person helping me load was obviously not well skilled at balancing.

With the Softopper, I was able to empty out most of the cab and cubbies. So, recovery gear, wool blanket, ratchet straps, jack, Viair, @Shellshock 's inflator, shackles, net, bungees, and other tools. Friggin' weighs a ton.

    No heads though.

Funny thing. Looking at the pics, I don't think a Softopper or many other things that mount to the accessory rails could be used with those stupid things. There isn't enough space available below the rails.

I was more in interested in the wooden crates. Fun things come in wooden crates.

Here are the clamps for my bestop, I think as long as the door to the bin leaves enough space at the front and back of the bed to open with the clamps in place it would be ok

Ah! Passengers seats for a trade show display that got COVID canceled. Each was about 325lb, so about 1,300lb or so of very bad aero. Got about 20mpg for that 40mi+ run on winter gas and had no problem accelerating.

It looks like it may work and fold. Very close though.

I've seen hard shell and bed rack clamps that go lower though.

Just saying that it is a poorly thought out option compared to what folks come up with otherwise. Given the target market, the hot takes will be incoming down the road.
