I'll be rolling into town Thursday morning and would like to do an easy run Thursday afternoon if anyone will be around. Riding the Whole Enchilada on Friday if any of you happen to be doing that as well...

 

i will be around town this afternoon, but camping in a different area until wednesday morning... will be around the main camp starting wednesday midday. if the main spot is open, the toilets should be there in the afternoon for anyone coming out early.

 

Sounds like you need to work on your safety squint technique.

You don't need 2 eyes to drive the trails in Moab anyway.

Alex was in the 4runner on 40s and tons, John in the back halfed one on 37s.

Looks like I'm gonna be in Moab this weekend. Headed out there with some buddies of mine. We will be out doing our own thing but if you see me driving around, be sure to honk and flip me off. I'll probably drop by the camp one of the nights.

 

if you pull in past the main spots, there's a spot where they use to hold horses (not used that often), which has some nice spots for campers and a little buffer for generators. it continues for a small bit after that too... or if you didn't want to go that far, there's nice spots for campers just through the fence... just don't camp too close to the toilets!

I had cunningly moved to the back of group just before the crack so the group wasn't held up and I could catch back up right away.

just got to camp. all spots are open. waiting on toilets to show up now. i have a teepee setup at one of the popular spots, we'll be at our normal spot on the left at #26ish.

and btw... everyone needs to quit breaking shit! our FJC just blew it's clutch (hopefully just the clutch) on the way here.. so we'll be down to just one rig out here.

 

On my way! I will be on CB channel 5. Staying at calf skin campground Wednesday night. Should make it to camp Thursday afternoon after hitting TOTW.

 

bring a roll of TP everyone just in case the toilets run out.. seems like every year the paper runs dry. if you have a roll at least you can wipe your ass with something besides your hand or a cactus

 

oh and those who've been back here before... you'll be in for a treat with the road condition this year!
