    No worries.

If the engage point didn't change, i.e. your shifts are just like before, then I am at a loss. If there was air in there, the engage point would be further toward the floor.

It is weird when things change just after they are touched. It might be worth getting under there while someone else is working the clutch?

Just did that, it’s way louder when under the truck. Shifts are fine clutch does not smell.

At least you know the trouble is in the area that was worked on. I wouldn't mess with it since it was a shop that did it. There should be some guarantee on the labor.

Didn't @Shellshock have issues with air? Sound familiar?

He might have. I don't think he publicized it with a video though?

    :D

He wasn't able to shift though.

I know I read that he had a real PITA for one reason or another and was wondering if he'd recognize the noise.

There sure arent a lot of other problems I can see this mod invoking, but I have no idea if that sound is a symptom since my ADM went easy-peasy

Seems like a bottle of brake fluid and a re-bleed would be a reasonable next step as far as troubleshooting goes?

Having been a complete novice with bleeding (vehicles) I found it tedious but not complicated or difficult. Tool investment is pretty minimal. Maybe the hardest part is getting the shroud off but it's just been removed once so shouldn't be too difficult to break those bolts free a 2nd time, assuming the shop re-installed it.

I could shift! You don’t need a clutch pedal for that!

If you have air in the line, it’ll be spongy. You should get noise

I’d see if the shield and stuff is tight.

    That sounds mechanical.

I would take it back, no way they didn't hear that when they got finished

Just went out and it wasn’t nearly as bad

I gotta take my truck for the fuel pump recall tomorrow

but I’ll see how bad it is and if it persists I’ll take it too the shop I had it done yet.

Noise is gone. Guess it was just settling in. Now time for recall service.

That's good to hear and just about as odd as the original issue!

    Good luck!
