Any OR owners running Michelin Defender® LTX® M/S 265/75R16 116T?

I think you have to take one for the team and post pictures of your truck with the new shoes

I shouldn't respond because I can't answer the OP's original question but I had the 265/75-16 on my old T-100. They were the E rated LT's though and they were a little too harsh for my liking.
That said, they are the tire I have run for a couple of decades now (but not in the E load range) and have them on my Taco in a 245/75-16 in a p-metric. They are fantastic in everything but mud. And honestly, if you air down a little, they aren't horrible there unless you are in some sloppy crap.
If you can now get them in the lighter load range like you said, I couldn't recommend them enough.
Years back, we had a big snow storm in southern Illinois. My family and I were sled riding on the overpass near our house and when we were finished, decided to do a little back roading. When we got up near the exit off I-64, there were literally cars stranded in the middle of the road on and near another overpass. I drove through the ditches around them and the truck never missed a lick. Hands down, in my opinion, the best tire out there. I run Michelins on all of our cars now.
As far as the size goes, I would GUESS you'd be ok.

 

It’s sounding like it. I’ve got 30K on the OEM Goodyear’s and they’ve still got decent amount of tread left so I’m thinking about 6 months for me ... doing the research right now.

 

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Michelin LTX A/T2's. https://www.michelinman.com/tires/ltx/ltx-a-t-2.html I have these of my wife's 2015 Off Road and my 2018 Sport. Replaced the factory tires as soon as I left the dealership. A very good compromise between an aggressive AT tire and a highway tire. Besides that, no Tacoma 4X4 should be runnin' around with highway tires. Just doesn't look right. Oh...been runnin' Michelins exclusively for almost 20 years. Can't beat'em.

 

Unfortunately those are only available in an E load for the size I’m looking for.

 

I researched for about a year. Lots of options, lots of confusion.

 

Saw this one and looks pretty good. Owner is going for more of a street look for sure.

 

I would gladly trade my K02’s for these.

Yeah I currently have Toyo open country r/t's that I love but I have really considered these on the next go around. Only glaring downside I see to them might be in traction in super deep mud but thats about it. 99% of the time it would be an arguably superior tire especially on road which is where I do most of my driving.

 

Yeah for some reason they seem more popular with the 2nd gen crowd than the 3rd gen. Classic example of whats more important fashion or function? Found another stock photo on google too.

Love my C Load 265/75/16 Duratracs. Very quiet for such an aggressive tire. But nowhere as quiet as the Goodyear Kevlar "Highway Tires" that came with my Off Road Tacoma.

But since the Op is looking for a street tire, I would not recommend them in that case.

 

For reference, mine are 245/75-16, about 2" of lift in the front, saggin' ass in the back. But it rides like a dream and I'm old..... AND, with those lighter tires on it, it feels damned peppy.
