    Mostly dust and dirt.
My dealer finally got some Tacomas. About 15 of them.
I doubt they’ll be dealing much on the price.

I have an offer for a Tech Package Cement TRD OR 4X4, AT DCSB for $35,869 before TTL and a high $899 doc fee. Includes some nonsense accessories like Toyoguard Plat, Paint Protrction, Predator bars, bed lights, phone cable charging package.

MSRP including destination, processing and handling is $38,065. Is this a good deal on a 2020? This is in GA.

Got pre approval from my credit union before I ever went to the dealership.
They sent me a confirmation email with the loan information I was to get and the loan officers contact info. I sent that to the sales manager I was working with via email on my deal in July.
Of course they wanted me to go with Toyota financial. I said they would have to at least match or beat the credit union. Toyota's offer came back at 3.89 but they matched the credit unions 3.49 for up to 60 months.
Always best to shop for your financial services too. Don't take what they just offer up.

I would check with Cobb County Toyota as they don't have any dealer fees just to get another number if only to see if your quote is inline

Thanks for the feedback! I checked with them and they said they can't locate a 2020. Only 2021.

I also had my pre-approval and agree with you. I was in and out in 20 minutes with my new truck. Fastest purchase I have done at any dealer.
Just get a 2021, prices seem to be dropping. In central Texas I'm seeing better prices.

Wow! That was faster than my deal. I think my Dad and I were there about an hour and a half total. The truck was still in the detail bay when we arrived. I did the Toyota credit application filled out all the sales papers. They made me test drive it to be sure everything was okay with it for me. Came back straight to finance. Toyota matched my rate. I wrote the check signed up all the loan papers and they said congratulations go drive and enjoy.
It was shocking how it was smoother and easier than any used cars i bought at dealerships.

I had a deposit on mine, my sales guy told me the same morning the truck had finally arrived. I texted my sales guy 30 minutes before I got off from work so they could detail it before I got there. We had already negotiated the price as well. Checked the truck out, I told them I was not wanting to buy any accessories or extra coverages off the bat. Went straight to the finance office to sign paper work (it was all digital). In and out, painless. Now my 2020 SR5 4x4 DCSB I bought in April (sold it to Carvana) it took 2 hours due to I was not expecting to buy the truck that day, had to negotiate and apply for financing on the spot.

Been looking all over SoCal and messaging all kinds of dealerships even out of state AZ & NV! Nobody wants to budge with the price as of sept/oct. Here's the best deal I have so far for a used 2020 Cement 4x4 Off-road DCLB premium leather trim and tech package..39k before taxes the truck has 12k miles. Hoping things get better and the prices plateaued and finally go back down.

Hi all, brand new to the site, but after reading some of the posts knew I needed to join. This will be a bit of a loaded post so please bear with me: I’ve owned a 2006 Taco TRD and loved it from the time I first got it until this last Saturday. It was showing its age (body and inside but engine was flawless) and was getting some work done at the local dealership. While I waited, I decided I hadn’t looked at a new Tacoma in over 7 years. Well, they had a grey 2020 SR 2.7 with blackout out road package and 17” wheels. I asked what the trade in for mine was and I drove off with a brand new truck. I’m leasing it at $301/month. Total price was $27,212 after trade in. I think I got it at a great price? Only problem, my little TRD was punchy (torque) and I am having a little trouble getting used to going back to a 4 cylinder. I mainly drive it to work but I am also an avid outdoorsman and drive on unimproved roads a lot and occasional muddy areas to retrieve animals. I’m from Southeast Georgia and driving through mud is a regular part of farm life, and I love playing in mud. The only towing I do is when I move every 3-5 years (military). I don’t do anything as extreme as what some of you do on here. My dream truck is the TRD sport or off road in Voodoo blue but there hasn’t been one to be found in my area and though I can afford it, don’t see the point in paying twice as much for a truck that looks better (at least to me). Do you think I still overpaid, or just be happy with it and drive on (pun intended)? Will the smaller engine work through mud as well as the 6 cylinder? My TRD was also 2 WD and I actually don’t like 4x4. My TRD did everything I ever asked of it. I attached pictures of my old baby and my new truck, which hopefully will grow on me. Not gonna lie, I teared up leaving my old “blueberry”- best truck I’ve ever owned.

After scouring the northeast the past month, I finally found an Access cab Sport with a manual trans near Syracuse NY, about 3 hours from me. Its a 2020 model, and the only option is the tech package. MSRP is $37,072, and they gave me a price quote of $35,600, including the $1000 rebate, and will not go any lower. So the dealer's only discounting it $400?!? I feel like I can do better, but nobody has an access cab with a clutch in my area without all the buzzers and bells on it.
    Thoughts?

Get the bells and whistles if the other dealer will discount further. Maybe they'll be free...

7% off MSRP is about average. That would be $34,476.

I paid $40 for a 2018 Pro. It was 700 miles away. They were asking $55 at my local dealerships. I think I found it on auto trader. I put $100 down on the phone, and maybe $300 for a plane ticket. The dealer picked me up at the airport.

19’ DCSB SR5 with 19k miles had been used as dealership rental. It came out of rental a month ago after the fuel pump recall, then sat in the lot. Walked the first day at the list price of 34989. The dealership manager emailed me the next morning offering it at 30,489. I bought it yesterday afternoon with Pre-approval of my credit union 3.89 % for 78 months. Still scared someone gonna say it was mistake and take it back out of the driveway lol.
