He was bitching about how he's getting screwed on his dodge trading it in, I told him it was him doing burn outs on stage 4 and those MTPs were bald 3months after he put them on, now he doesn't have 2nd gear. No one to blame but himself.

Apparently he didn't get the memo that dodge tranny's have playdough for internals.

 

took a 4100 mile trip down to OR, UT, and CO. Went up to Hurrah in Moab and Imogene in CO....previously the hardest thing I had done was the Fortune Creek trail so Imogene was the perfect next step. I was never super concerned, the truck seemed like it could handle is all pretty easy, though there is only one section on the Fortune Creek trail that I used 4Lo, and I used it quite a bit on the Imogene going up. Primarily just exploring and fly fishing.

 

In other news, a box truck is currently stuck on Engineer Pass.

 

the box truck should get some sponsors and head over to Black Bear...I want to see it take on the ledges and switchbacks.

 

pretty stoked to be going back on 35's. toyo at III's. c-load. not bad price either. ebay is the only place that has a few in stock.

Does anyone know of a field or parking lot with no lights that’s at least 100x100ft, has no overhead wires and I won’t get shot or arrested for flying a drone at night? Preferably within 30 minutes of Renton.

Black Diamond Natural Area parking lot? I did the measurements on google maps, looks big enough. Far enough from MV to cut down on light pollution.

 

I think they close the gate at night. There is parking outside of the gate though on the south side of the entrance.

I've got everything covered except the proximity to Renton. You can park in my pasture and hang out with the horses. It's only about 4-5 hours from Renton though

From what I’ve seen he hopped out probably to spot or watch and it took off rolling.

 

i have 100 acres of field but none of which I’d recommend putting a car in

I was thinking that this would be pretty terrifying (fast forward to 15:30 or so) and a reason not to head up and try that one if the weather looked iffy, but having it be a vehicle coming down on you would be different.
