We use a really old ticketing program that's based in html (asp) and javascript at my work. Surprisingly no one but me seems to know web development things. So I'm modifying it to suck less, it's open source but long since been deprecated. Only reason I'm not starting fresh is because it has active directory integration and I don't think I could recreate that backend myself.

So my truck got done getting washed, but now my truck won't turn on.

    It cranks but no start.

It was as if no fuel was getting in but I have half a tank.

Pulled codes and I have a P0116 Engine Coolant Temp Sensor 1

Check the big 40/50A fuses in the engine bay box. I've had that exact thing happen to my 5-Lug. Also the EFI fuse.

Did they wash your engine bay? Cause I'd say its time to dry some connectors. You can unplug the coolant temp sensor, it might be shorted indicating the need for full rich.

No, engine bay was not touched at all.

I swapped the heater relay and efi relay and even though it took a bit to start, it fired up.

Idling at 750rpm with AC on.

Going to drive it for a bit since I tried starting it 3-4 times to keep the battery up and then go home and try your suggestion.

Hmm odd, if it isn't water related then it's a pretty wild guess for much without some diagnostics.

I reversed jumped the 5-Lug and it blew the main 40A fuse, and the EFI fuse. It had the same symptoms as you and new fuses fixed it. Get a test light and start checking things.

Yeah it's very unlikely that swapping the relays had anything to do with it and more like the five minutes of downtime was enough for it to start again

Well reverse jumping it would lead me to believe that a fusible link and other things would go out.

That was not the case for me.

My no-start sounded like it was getting no gas

Did you hose down the engine as well?

MY LC did this once, but I had just gone to town on the engine with a pressure washer and gotten water where it shouldn't have been thanks to some missing spark plug boots

Read above, engine bay was completely untouched and is dry.

I washed my 4Runner yesterday after work and hosed down the engine as well. Didn't use any cleaner/degreaser, just low water pressure. I have a hose attachment thing that has a "shower" setting and I used that. Except for all the dust, the motor is actually pretty clean since I did the timing belt and valve covers not too long ago.

So drove around quite a bit.

AC both on or off my RPMs are consistently 950.

In park it jumps up to 1480 and stays there, I don't hear any leaks as I poked my head through the engine bay.

Coolant levels are good as well, no smoking at all
